Our mission is to share our love of kayaking with our community. We believe that kayaking is a wonderful outdoor activity that most can do. Our approach is to make it easy for people to enjoy a leisurely paddle, while sharing our knowledge and experience in paddlesports, to ensure a safe and fun experience for our participants.
Kira’s first experience kayaking was when she was young girl at Girl Scout Camp Sacajawea. The very first time she hopped in a kayak she knew she found something she loved! Her favorite place to be is in her kayak floating on Shark River when it’s 75 and sunny, surrounded by family and friends who paddle! She is certified by the American Canoe Association as a Level 2 Sit-on-Top Kayak Instructor. Kira is also certified in CPR and First Aid, a requirement for the ACA instructor certification.
Jeremy’s favorite memories of kayaking when he was younger was surfing the waves of the ocean. He, too, had his first try at kayaking and canoeing at Boy Scout Camp. He is an avid fisherman who loves to gear up and paddle out to find the big ones! Jeremy is certified by the American Canoe Association as a Level 2 Kayak Touring Instructor. He is also certified in CPR and First Aid.
